The failure of the 'Voice' referendum was a crushing blow to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Australia. It was a missed opportunity to ensure that their voices were heard loud and clear on the issues that matter most to them.

Kulila, an Indigenous-owned and operated think tank, has been established to provide a platform for these communities to have their say. Kulila engages with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations to compile research and promote discussion on the issues that matter most to them.

Our research is built from community engagement, we seek to consult, engage and collaborate to build a comprehensive Indigenous think tank, focused on improving and advocating for self-determination, understanding and reconciliation of the voices of First Nations communities.
